Con Tech
installs the Carlisle
Vehicular Parking System.
- Typically it is
applied to the concrete decks to prevent water from
- entering the
occupied space below.

1. The
parking bumpers are removed and stored.
2. All
cracks in the deck are routed (sawcut) and the cracks are then sealed
with CCW-201 sealant.
- 3. At the
intersection of all parapet walls a 1" cant bead of Sonneborn NP-2
- sealant is applied.
4.
CCW-501 Detail Coat is applied to all routed cracks, control joints and
expansion joints.
5.
Carlisle CCW-554 Primer is applied to the concrete at a
rate of 33 sf per
gal.
6.
CCW-501 Base Coat is then applied at a rate of 50 sf per gal.
7.
CCW-502 Intermediate Coat is then applied at a rate of a 100 sf per
gal. 16 mesh silica
sand is then broadcast over the intermediate coat
while still
wet.
8.
If the deck has a ramp, a second coat of CCW-502 Intermediate Coat
is then applied at a rate of
a 100 sf per gal. 20 mesh silica sand is then
broadcast over the
intermediate coat while still wet.
9.
Apply Carlisle CCW-503 Top Coat at a rate of 100 sf per gal. 4
standard colors and custom
colors are available.
10.
Re-install parking bumpers.
11.
Re-paint existing parking bumpers.
12.
Repair any concrete spalling on the ceiling below the concrete deck.
13.
Re-open deck 48 hrs. after the CCW-503 Top Coat is applied.
